Fiesta del Río!

Fiesta del Río: Best of Southwest Detroit, presented by The Ideal Group, takes place on Saturday, August 27, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Located along the newly-revived West Riverfront in downtown Detroit, the festival will have live music featuring the Grammy Award winning group, Ozomatli. Fiesta del Río will also feature authentic Latino and Mexican food from Southwest Detroit, a family area and unique merchandise from area artisans and vendors.

The Detroit Riverfront will also come alive as never before when it hosts Majestics Slam Saturday- a low-rider car show and car hop. Over 100 cars will vie for over $3,000 in available prize money and trophies. This car showcase will be an exciting display for car enthusiast and car hop rookies alike! Admission to the event will be $5. Nearby guest parking will cost $5 per car.

SDBA is supporting Fiesta del Río this coming August at the beautiful West Riverfront Park so that attendees can taste the best of Southwest Detroit. Fiesta del Río is possible thanks to the investment of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation as well as the additional sponsors listed below.
